    • CORRIEDALE FROM NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA, DYED IN ITALY: 100% Corriedale wool, mulesing-free, about 27 micron with a long staple, good spring and a soft natural sheen. The breed was developed in New Zealand in the late 1800s from Merino and Lincoln sheep. Our wool is combed and dyed in Tuscany, Italy with OEKO-TEX approved dyes.
    • PULL, FLUFF AND FELT: Corriedale felts easier than Merino. This is soft, clean combed top, so the fibers lie smooth and parallel. For needle felting, pull off a tuft and fluff it in your fingers before you start. For wet felting, lay out thin wisps. For hand spinning, it drafts evenly. For large sculptures, build the shape with our Corriedale core wool (sold separately) and cover it with color.
