- CONSISTENT BREATH TESTING ROUTINE: Wait 15–20 minutes after drinking, eating, smoking, using mouthwash or applying breath spray. Complete the warm-up cycle, then blow steadily for 3–4 seconds when prompted. If the breath is too short or irregular, the screen displays ERR so you can test again.
- GUIDED AIRFLOW SAMPLING: A dedicated intake path directs the breath sample toward the semiconductor sensor. Follow the on-screen blow prompt and provide one steady breath instead of short bursts. Keep the air outlet unobstructed and avoid blowing smoke into the device during operation.
