    • Birdcage Accessories

    • FIRST STEP IN HAND DESENSITIZATION:The realistic hand-shaped perch provides a gradual first step in hand desensitization and step-up practice. Install it inside the cage so your bird can observe, approach and stand on a familiar hand-like surface at its own pace. Patient, reward-based practice can help your bird gradually adjust to the shape and position of a human hand before direct hand contact.
    • SUPPORTS TRUST-BUILDING INTERACTION:Short and positive training sessions can help build trust between you and your bird while encouraging calmer interaction. Gradual desensitization may help reduce fear-based defensive behaviors such as backing away, lunging or nipping, while supporting a closer bond between bird and owner. Never force your bird onto the perch
    • allow it to approach voluntarily and progress according to its comfort level.
    • ADULT HAND PROPORTIONS:The perch is proportionally modeled after an adult human hand, including realistic palm and finger contours. The familiar proportions create a natural transition from everyday cage perching to supervised step-up practice and direct interaction with the owner. Available in Open Palm and Raised Finger styles, with each style sold individually.
    • DAILY PERCH AND BEAK ACTIVITY:Use it as an everyday cage perch for standing, resting, treat-guided interaction and training. The detailed surface provides an additional area for natural beak rubbing and light supervised chewing, adding more activity and variety to the cage environment. Inspect the perch regularly and discontinue use if the surface becomes loose or damaged.
    • WASHABLE WITH SECURE SCREW MOUNT:Made from waterproof, washable material, the perch can be rinsed with water to remove food residue, droppings and everyday surface mess. A threaded bolt, metal backing plate and wing nut clamp attach it securely to cage bars without complicated tools. Tighten the hardware before use and check the connection regularly to help keep the perch stable.
