- The 50M56-743 is an automatic gas furnace control kit featuring Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) technology. Its built-in microprocessor continuously monitors and manages the gas burner, inducer, and blower fan. By interpreting signals from the thermostat and flame sensor, the system automatically initiates ignition, verifies flame presence, and safely shuts off during normal operation.
- The PCBBF162S control board features built‑in system fault analysis that quickly shuts off gas flow when issues are detected. It also includes an automatic ignition retry function that activates once the fault is corrected. For safety and proper installation, this board should be installed by a qualified HVAC contractor or licensed electrician. If you are unsure whether your wiring is millivolt, line voltage, or low voltage, have it inspected by a professional before installation.
