Pop the old head off and look at the stub it slides onto: if it is narrower at the bottom than at the top, it is tapered and this head is right. If it is the same diameter top and bottom, it is a straight stud and this head will not seat — you need the 83008403 head instead. Straight studs show up on some early 5060 units and on 9010, 9024, APX80/APX90 and the RC-1, RC-5A, RC-15A and RC-20A machines.
