• Mechanical Automatic Cutting Design: This device requires no electronic components or wiring. When the filament becomes tangled, knotted, or stuck on the spool, abnormal tension activates the internal blades to automatically cut the filament, preventing empty printing and reducing filament waste. A spring mechanism automatically resets the blades, and a status indicator window enables quick and easy monitoring of the device’s status.
• Wide Compatibility: Works with all 1.75mm 3D printers, compatible with Bambu Lab AMS/AMS-Lite and CFS systems, and other multi-spool systems. Supports PLA, PETG, ABS, and rigid TPU 90A+ filaments. Note: For printers with built-in anti-tangle detection (e.g., A1, P2 with buffer, X2D with buffer), disable the built-in detection function before using this cutter to avoid conflicts.
• Rugged and Durable: High-strength POM housing, replaceable hardened stainless steel blades, and spare blades included for easy maintenance. Compact size, suitable for space-constrained printers, with plug-and-play PTFE tubing connection.
• Additional 3D Printing Parts May be Required: Mounting bracket and filament comb are not included. You need to 3D print these accessories separately for stable mounting within the AMS, printer housing, or filament dryer. Without a print stand, the device can only be secured with cable ties or tape, which can cause the filament path to bend, resulting in false triggering. A straight, unobstructed filament path is crucial for reliable performance.
• Note: Soft TPU filaments ≤85A, heavy-duty filaments filled with carbon fiber/glass fiber, and easily peelable core-shell structure filaments are not recommended, as these may cause false triggering or rapid blade wear.
