The non-liner side provides excellent adhesion to metal and primed plastic, while the high final adhesion and peel strength help keep parts firmly attached. Ideal for body side moldings, claddings, badges, antenna housings and other exterior trim where dependable holding power matters.
- AUTOMOTIVE TRIM MOUNTING: Designed for automotive applications, this double sided adhesive tape helps attach body side moldings, wheel arch extensions, door seals, roof ditch moldings, wheel flares, badges, spoilers, pillars and panels. The acrylic foam construction provides reliable bonding and helps maintain a clean bond line. Its flexibility accommodates automotive parts during everyday temperature changes, vibration and normal road conditions.
- CONFORMABLE ACRYLIC FOAM CORE: The closed cell acrylic foam core combines flexibility, strength and stress relaxation to conform to curved or complex surfaces while following the shrinkage and elongation of plastic parts caused by temperature changes. High conformability promotes good wet out and a tight fit, while low elongation and cold temperature impact resistance help maintain bond integrity and appearance under normal stress loads.
- WEATHER & TEMPERATURE RESISTANT: Built for demanding automotive environments, this heavy duty double sided foam tape delivers adhesive performance across varying temperatures and offers resistance to weather, solvents and high temperatures. The viscoelastic foam core helps absorb stress while maintaining the bond line. Use it for exterior trim and accessories where a durable mounting solution is needed through changing weather and everyday driving conditions.
- PROPER SURFACE PREP: For best adhesion, clean bonding surfaces thoroughly with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water, then allow them to dry completely. Apply the double sided molding tape at 70°F–100°F (21°C–38°C) and apply firm, even pressure. Allow the bond to set for 24 hours for maximum strength. Avoid application below 50°F (10°C)
