The panel is 159 x 159 x 16 mm with a 150 x 150 mm cutting area, so generic 300 x 300 mm or 400 x 400 mm honeycomb beds are too large to fit the A1C opening. • SLATTED BLADE PLATE, NOT A HONEYCOMB BED: The A1C plate uses parallel steel strips instead of a honeycomb grid. The smaller contact area lets smoke and heat escape sideways, which keeps the underside of your workpiece cooler and cuts the scorching and resin build-up that solid tables and fine honeycomb grids trap.
• LOWER CONTACT AREA MEANS LESS HEAT AND LESS CLEANUP: Slatted support exposes only narrow strips of the underside, so heat has fewer paths to spread into your material. Less trapped smoke on the back face means fewer burn marks to sand off, and the residue that does form collects on the strips instead of baking onto a flat surface.
• CHECK WHETHER YOUR A1C ALREADY INCLUDED ONE: The Falcon A1C 10W version ships with a cutting plate in the box, so for 10W owners this is a spare or a replacement for a scorched one. The A1C 5W version does not include it and needs this plate to complete the workbed. The machine itself is not included with this listing.
