• Upgraded Double-Layer Design for Comfortable Recovery: Designed to make recovery easier, the Vithael dog cone features a soft, breathable mesh inner layer that rests comfortably against your dog's neck and a durable, waterproof transparent PVC outer layer for reliable protection. Unlike traditional hard plastic cones, this soft dog cone combines flexibility with supportive structure, helping keep your dog comfortable while preventing licking or scratching at surgical incisions, wounds, and irritated skin.
• Proper Size for Effective Wound Protection: XL (Neck Circumference: 18.5"-21.1") (Depth: 12.2"). Always measure your dog's Neck Girth and the Length between the tip of your dog's nose and the base of the neck (neck-to-nose) before buying. The cone should extend beyond the tip of the nose to prevent your pet from reaching the affected area and ensure effective recovery. If your dog's size is near the upper limit of a size range, it's best to order the next size up to provide extra comfort.
• Adjustable Dog Cone That Stays Securely in Place: Keeping a recovery collar on an active dog can be challenging. That's why this Vithael dog cone collar combines adjustable Hook&Loop Closure with a convenient Drawstring Stopper for a snug, customizable fit without excessive pressure around the neck. An additional collar attachment allows you to thread your dog's regular collar through for extra security, helping reduce slipping or accidental removal. Always supervise your dog while they become familiar with wearing the cone.
• Soft Edges and Easy-to-Clean Waterproof Surface: Recovery should be comfortable for your furry friend and convenient for you. This dog cone for dogs after surgery features soft fabric edging around the neck to help minimize rubbing and irritation during daily wear. The waterproof PVC exterior can be quickly wiped clean with a damp cloth or paper towel, making it easy to remove everyday dirt and messes without complicated washing.
• Quieter, Furniture-Friendly Recovery Cone: Worried about your dog bumping into furniture while wearing a cone? The Vithael soft recovery cone features a flexible construction and cushioned edges that help reduce harsh contact and noise compared with traditional rigid plastic Elizabethan collars. Its gentler design helps protect household surfaces while reducing uncomfortable rubbing against your dog's skin, making everyday movement more manageable during recovery.
• Gentle Tips: ①Before use, unpack the soft dog cone and lay it flat to allow it to relax. ②If your dog tries to chew, redirect their attention with treats or toys. ③The hook&loop may produce mild noise when opened. We recommend letting your dog sniff the dog cone collar before using it and rewarding them with treats. Gently move it to the dog's chin area before slowly peeling it on or off. ④Dirt, hair, and debris can clog the hook&loops, reducing their effectiveness. Regularly use a soft brush or a lint roller to remove trapped particles and ensure them functioning properly.
