• Warm Tips: To achieve a clean, right-angle cut, ensure the drill bit is aligned vertically with the pipe. This pvc fitting saver tool performs best at lower speeds. When using this plastic pipe reamer kit, prioritise personal safety: wear protective gloves, add water as needed for cooling to prevent overheating of the pipe, and keep the tool away from children and bystanders
• Wide Application for DIY and Professional Projects: This pvc reamer kit is well-suited for pool equipment, hot tubs, kitchen and bathroom renovations, and various pipe renovation tasks. It works effectively on Schedule 40 PVC, ABS fittings, and CPVC ventilation pipes. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a contractor working on drainage systems, ventilation projects, or irrigation upgrades, these plastic pipe reamers provide a practical solution. (Note: This reamer is not intended for Schedule 80 pipes.)
• Versatile Repairs with 8-Size PVC Pipe Reamer Kit: The Qoobly pvc pipe reamer kit includes eight pipe reamers in sizes: 4", 3", 2", 1-1/2", 1-1/4", 1", 3/4" and 1/2". This range covers small to large pipe processing needs, making it suitable for hot and cold water pipe tasks. Each pipe reamer tool features a 3/8-inch hex shaft, designed to fit standard 1/2-inch drills and handle high-torque applications. The set is specifically crafted to remove burrs from Schedule 40 PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipes
• Dual-Sided Hard Alloy Cutting Insert for Extended Use: Each pipe reamer in this set includes two tungsten carbide blades, each with four cutting surfaces. The blades can be rotated four times—simply turn them 90 degrees before each use to expose a fresh cutting edge. This design maximises cutting efficiency and extends the service life of the pvc reamer kit, helping you remove old pipes quickly and easily. Each use delivers a smooth, burr-free surface, which is important for achieving a watertight seal. Rotating the blades is simple with an appropriate wrench
• Save Time & Labour & Material Costs: With this pvc fitting saver tool, there is no need to replace an entire system due to a single damaged section. New PVC pipes can be installed into the reamed joints, allowing you to reuse expensive components such as valves and flanges. This approach reduces both labour time and material costs, making pipe renovations faster and more economical. By reusing existing fittings, you minimise waste and complete projects more efficiently
• Simple Operation in Four Steps: Using these plastic pipe fitting reamers is straightforward. First, cut off the damaged section of the pipe. Next, select the appropriate size reamer, insert it into the drill chuck, and tighten securely. Set the drill to low speed, insert the pipe reamer into the damaged pipe while keeping it centered to avoid sticking. Then, slowly ream to the desired depth. Take off the reamers tool and clean debris from the joint. For extended reaming, pause occasionally to reduce friction heat and maintain clean results
