- ULTRASONIC MATERIAL THICKNESS MEASUREMENT: Industrial-886 uses the ultrasonic pulse reflection principle to measure material thickness or sound velocity. It is suitable for materials that conduct ultrasound, including steel, copper, aluminum, rock and glass. Couplant is required during measurement.
- WIDE 1–400 MM STEEL RANGE: Measures steel thickness from 1 to 400 mm (0.04–15.75 in). Resolution is 0.01 mm at measurements up to 99.99 mm and 0.1 mm from 100.0 mm and above. The standard probe operates at 5 MHz and the gauge supports both mm and inch units.
- SINGLE & CONTINUOUS MEASUREMENT MODES: Switch between Single and Continuous measurement. In Continuous mode, the probe can be moved along the measured surface while the instrument displays the current thickness together with maximum, minimum and average values in real time.
- ADJUSTABLE SOUND VELOCITY 1000–9999 M/S: Select the material or manually adjust sound velocity from 1000 to 9999 m/s. The Industrial-886 also supports inverse measurement of sound velocity using a test object with known thickness when the actual material sound velocity needs to be determined.
- 100-GROUP DATA STORAGE: Stores up to 100 groups of measurement data for later review directly on the instrument. After measurement, the current value, maximum value, minimum value and average value can be saved, allowing previously recorded measurements to be viewed from the data list.
- QC INSPECTION WITH UPPER & LOWER LIMITS: Set upper and lower measurement limits in QC mode. The gauge compares each measurement with the selected limits and, when a value is outside the set range, provides a red visual indication and an audible alarm when the sound prompt is enabled.
- STATISTICS & LINE CHART DISPLAY: The Industrial-886 provides three on-screen review functions: measurement statistics, QC detection and a line-chart display. The instrument can show MAX, MIN and Average values and also display measurement changes graphically directly on the LCD during use.
- BACKLIT LCD & USER CALIBRATION: Features a 128×128 dot-matrix LCD with backlight, coupling-status indication, selectable mm/inch units and 4 mm user calibration. The gauge is powered by 3 AAA alkaline batteries and also supports USB 5V/2A power through the Type-C interface.
