• Dual-Layer Reinforcement For High-Stress Repairs:The ±45° non-crimp biaxial layer places straight fibers in two diagonal directions to help support torsional, off-axis and multi-directional loads—unlike basic 0°/90° woven cloth. It conforms around curves, corners and transitions for reinforcement at crack surrounds, seams, deck-to-hull joints, bulkheads and stringers. The chopped strand mat layer adds thickness and coverage, helping create a more complete composite repair laminate with a uniform resin transition to existing fiberglass
• Pre-Cut Width For Seams, Corners & Tabbing:The 4 in wide 1708 fiberglass roll is sized for narrow repairs where wide cloth is inconvenient to trim. Ideal for boat stringers, bulkheads, deck-to-hull tabbing, cracked edges, RV seams and tight corners. The narrow strip lies neatly along curved transitions and can be unrolled and cut to the length needed for targeted reinforcement
• Compatible With Epoxy, Polyester & Vinyl Ester Resin: Designed for common marine and composite repair systems. Clean and sand the damaged area, apply resin to the surface, then place the CSM side toward the existing fiberglass. Wet out from the biaxial face and use a roller or squeegee to fully saturate the fabric and remove trapped air. For added reinforcement, cut multiple patches, from small to large, and apply them in expanding, overlapping layers to help distribute loads beyond the damaged area and reduce stress concentration
• 15-Yard Roll For More Repairs, Less Material Sourcing:Supplied in a continuous roll rather than pre-folded sheets, the fabric unrolls for clean, cut-to-fit coverage across boat, RV, trailer, auto fiberglass, mold, equipment-housing and DIY composite projects. Each piece combines directional biaxial reinforcement with the added thickness, coverage and resin transition of 275 GSM chopped strand mat in the same material.
