• 【Size & Material】Sized for 1/8" wire rope, this kit combines aluminum figure-8 crimp sleeves with 304 stainless steel thimbles. Aluminum compresses around the cable during swaging, while 304 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance and a smooth contact surface inside the finished eye.
• 【Protected Cable Eyes】The crimp sleeve secures the cable tail against the standing line, and the grooved thimble supports the loop where it bends around a hook, shackle, or anchor point. This paired structure helps maintain the eye shape and reduce abrasion, crushing, and concentrated cable wear.
• 【Crimping Method】Feed the wire rope through the sleeve, route it around the thimble groove, and return the cable end through the second sleeve opening. Compress the sleeve evenly with a crimping or swaging tool sized for 1/8" fittings
• standard pliers may not provide uniform compression.
• 【Project Compatibility】Suitable for general-purpose wire rope loops used in clotheslines, trellis systems, fencing, cable railing repair, dog runs, shade supports, marine hardware, workshop fixtures, and light-duty rigging. Check the finished outside diameter before use with coated cable.
• 【60-Piece Supply】Includes 60 total components in one commonly used 1/8" size, providing matching sleeves and thimbles for multiple cable terminations, repairs, replacements, and backup stock without mixing incompatible fitting sizes.
