- 8 efficient High Side Outputs over I2C. Digital Output or configurable frequency PWM. Ideal for relays, solenoids, lamps, fans, motors, automotive loads, and other switched devices. 160 mOhm typical per-channel resistance when on.
- Built-In current feedback and diagnostics over I2C - Monitor current draw on each output channel and detect fault conditions directly from software. Current feedback and diagnostic reporting help your application understand load behavior and react intelligently.
- Current Limiting - On board thermal limiting activates if average per-IC current exceeds 2.5 A . Fault reaction can either automatically restart current when the driver chip drops below the thermal limit, or remain latched off until the host changes the input (solder jumper configurable)
- Inrush Limiting - On driver PWM limits inrush current. This can be helpful for improving stability in systems that drive large inductive loads such as motors.
- On board PWM generation using Serial Wombat firmware. Each channel can have a different PWM duty cycle and frequency. This allows flexibility in driving inductive loads that is not avaialble through normal Arduino functions.
- On board monitoring of load and logic input voltages. These values can be read over I2C. Optional logic and load power indicator LEDs can be enabled via solder jumper
- 3.3 or 5V logic operation. 3.7 V to 24V load drive voltage.
- Flexible I2C configuration. I2C address can be set with solder jumpers to range from 0x60 to 0x6F . Optional header pins allow flexible configuration using header jumpers. On board solder jumpers can add 2200 ohm pull up I2C bus resistors.
- Arduino, Python / MicroPython / CircuitPython and C# libraries are available. Extenstive examples and online tutorials. Firmware is open source .
