• Notes for Attention:) Before installing a new water pump: Identify root cause—check radiator fan, clutch, belt, hoses, thermostat. Confirm model/year against old pump. Flush cooling system completely to remove rust/debris. Clean mounting surface; moisten O-ring with coolant. Use minimal sealant. Never hammer shaft—clean bore if tight. Tighten bolts crosswise to spec. Adjust belt tension per OEM (too tight = bearing failure, too loose = noise). Use only recommended coolant—do not mix. Fill slowly with engine off and cool. Never run without coolant
