It is fully lined with a grey nylon material.The back is padded, and firm and has a strap in the middle to place it over a rolling suitcase.The shoulder straps are also nicely padded.All of the zippers have nice quality pulls and large teeth for strength.There is one section in the back that zips all the way down for your laptop. It is nicely padded. I have a 13" laptop so could not really say how it fits a larger one, but it fit my portable monitor very well, too. Across from the laptop are a couple of small, thin pockets which would handle a slim power supply or slim mouse, but the regular size ones would not fit there. If you have a stylus, there is a loop for it, too.The main section of the bag is cavernous. It is the widest section of the bag. It has a double zipper that goes about 60% of the way down each side. It is open and available if you are packing clothes for a day trip.For your regularly needed accessories, there are 2 side pockets and two front pockets. All of these have a good amount of depth through them so your power supply, mouse, hot spot, sunglasses, etc. all have plenty of room.
