- POLYESTER WISHBONE DISCS: The 0.394” diameter circular discs are constructed of a polyester backing with a tab and coated with high temperature silicone adhesive on an easy release liner.
- EASY PULL TAB: The pull tab allows for easier placement and faster removal during high temperature processes. The tab design eliminates the need for sharp razor blades and tools during removal.
- HIGH TEMPERATURE & CLEAN REMOVAL: Polyester discs work in demanding conditions and can withstand temperatures up to 400°F. They are strong, tear resistant and removes cleanly in one piece form most surfaces after high temperature baking cycles. The polyester film circles also offer excellent chemical resistance in demanding process such as anodizing.
- APPLICATIONS: The green polyester discs are used to mask areas that do not require coating, including circular surfaces and grounding areas during high-temperature powder coating and e-coating processes. These discs also effectively mask surfaces during anodizing and electroplating processes.
- SPECIFICATIONS: Polyester masking discs are translucent green in color. The polyester backing thickness is 2 mil and the total thickness of the tape is 3.2 mil. The operating temperature is -60°F to 400°F.
