The fiberglass fabric backing provides greater tensile strength and resistance to abrasion, tears, punctures, and wear than standard PTFE film tapes.
• NON-STICK SURFACE: The PTFE coated fiberglass fabric backing provides anti-stick properties, providing an excellent solution for applications that require easy release and lack of adhesive residue, such as heat sealing and packaging equipment.
• HIGH-TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: This tape resists continuous temperatures up to 500°F for excellent performance on heated machinery and equipment.
• APPLICATIONS: SG35-03 is commonly used by the packaging industry as a release surface on heat sealers, blister formation, and form-fill-seal equipment. It is also used for lining guide rails, chutes, and slides. The high heat resistance and non-stick properties also make it an excellent release surface in the composite aircraft industry.
