• NON-STICK SURFACE: The PTFE film backing provides anti-stick properties, providing an excellent solution for applications that require easy release and lack of adhesive residue, such as machine rollers and plates.
• HIGH-TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: This PTFE film tape with rubber adhesive resists temperatures up to 325°F long term for excellent performance on heated machinery and equipment. Saint-Gobain 2250-02 also provides excellent chemical resistance for more demanding applications.
• APPLICATIONS: The excellent conformability and release properties of the PTFE backing make 2250-02 ideal for applications such as composite lay-up, roller wrapping, plate masking, heat sealing and other uses where costly clean up is a problem. The aerospace industry also uses 2250-02 in phase insulation for bundling end turns, spot bundling, anchor breakouts, and to protect airframe wire harnesses.
• SPECIFICATIONS: This PTFE film tape measures 6 inches wide by 5 yards long with a total thickness of 3.5 mil and a backing thickness of 2 mil. Can withstand temperatures from -40°F to 400°F (short term) and 325°F (long term).
