• PTFE FILM TAPE: A thin, conformable, extruded, high-modulus PTFE film backing coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive. The extruded PTFE film tape lies flatter than typical skived PTFE film tapes.
• NON-STICK SURFACE: The PTFE film backing provides anti-stick properties, providing an excellent solution for applications that require easy release and lack of adhesive residue, such as machine rollers and plates.
• HIGH-TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: This tape resists continuous temperatures up to 500°F for excellent performance on heated machinery and equipment. Saint-Gobain 2265-02 also provides excellent chemical resistance for more demanding applications.
• APPLICATIONS: The excellent conformability and release properties of the PTFE backing, along with the high-temperature capabilities of 2265-02, make this tape ideal for applications such as composite lay-up, roller wrapping, plate masking, and other uses where costly clean up is a problem.
• SPECIFICATIONS: This PTFE film tape measures 6 inches wide by 5 yards long with a total thickness of 3.5 mil and a backing thickness of 2 mil. Can withstand temperatures from -100°F to +500°F.
