• MEDIUM CSM ROLL: This 35-inch wide by 30-foot long roll of 1.5 oz E-glass chopped strand mat sits between narrow repair tape and full 50-inch builder rolls. It is wide enough for boat topsides, RV panels, and car body work, yet manageable for one person to handle and cut.
• E-GLASS CHOPPED MAT: Random-oriented short glass fibers wet out quickly with polyester resin or vinyl ester, conforming to curves and contours better than woven cloth. The CSM builds uniform thickness fast in hand layup repairs and small lamination projects.
• BOAT RV AND AUTO REPAIR: Use it for fiberglass repair jobs on boat hulls, deck seams, RV sidewall patches, automotive body filler reinforcement, small mold work, and tub or shower surrounds. The 35-inch width covers most medium areas without the overage of a 50-inch roll.
• WET LAYUP PROCESS: Cut the fiberglass mat to size with scissors or a utility knife. Brush catalyzed resin onto the clean repair area, lay the mat down, and wet it out with a roller. Add plies for deeper patches, then cure, sand, and gel coat or paint.
• ROLL DIMENSIONS: Each order contains one roll of white chopped strand fiberglass mat, 35 inches wide by 30 feet long, about 87 square feet total. Rolled packaging keeps the mat clean and ready for your next project.
