    • 8X M.2 NVME ON ONE PCIe 4.0 X16 SLOT: Expand your workstation, NAS or rackmount server with eight M.2 Key-M NVMe SSDs through the PEX88048 PCIe 4.0 switch (50 lanes), delivering up to 256Gb/s (32GB/s) shared bandwidth. Supports 2280-form-factor NVMe SSDs
    • backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 at native speeds.
    • NO BIFURCATION REQUIRED: The onboard PEX88048 switch chip splits the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot internally, so it works with all motherboards - no BIOS bifurcation setting needed, including Mac Pro. No extra power cable required
    • the card is powered entirely by the PCIe slot.
    • FULL-COVERAGE COOLING: Oversized aluminum heatsink cover wraps the switch chip and all eight M.2 SSDs, with a built-in fan driving continuous airflow - eight full-speed NVMe SSDs stay cool under sustained load without throttling, no tuning required.
    • SOFT RAID & STORAGE EXPANSION: Build RAID 0/1/5/10 with Windows Disk Management, Storage Spaces, Linux mdadm or macOS - ideal for NAS backup targets, video editing scratch disks, surveillance storage and homelab use. Intel VROC requires a separate license.
    • PLUG & PLAY, LIMITATIONS STATED: Driver-free on Windows 11/10/8, Linux and macOS (Windows 7 not supported). New SSDs need initialization and formatting. Note: OS booting from the attached SSDs is not supported - use as high-speed data storage. Regular bracket included.
