    • however, the painting on the shell top’s strings could have been extended higher toward the neck for a more polished look. There’s no stray paint where it shouldn’t be, which is a plus.My biggest issue is the figurine’s inability to stand on its own. The figurine can’t support the weight of the head and hair, causing it to topple over immediately. I’m not able to manipulate the arms or tail to accommodate for the weight imbalance. It can stay upright if propped against something, but that defeats the purpose of a freestanding figurine. I had hoped to display it prominently in my toad’s terrarium, but its instability makes it impractical for that purpose. Instead, it’s likely headed to my daughter as a toy, which wasn’t my original plan.Overall, this figurine is adorable
    • however too poorly balanced to serve as a proper aquarium decorative piece.Read moreRead less Amazon Customer3 out of 5 starsCute, but doesn’t stay up on its ownReviewed in the United States on September 30, 2025Vine Customer Review of Free ProductI recently ordered this aquarium mermaid figurine, and while it has some charming qualities, it falls short in key areas. The figurine is undeniably cute but small. The figurine has good attention to detail on the mermaid’s tail, shells, and hair. The paint job is generally well done
