There is a solid block of the single-piece aluminum cover that reaches all the way to the chipset, so serious passive cooling. There are no plastic standoffs, none needed. The board mounts perfectly with tiny hex drive screws. Had I not bought this here on Amazon for under $10, I would have guessed it to cost at least 6 times more. If you wanted to wall mount this, there are plenty of threaded hole patterns on the back to choose from.
