  • breathable, cozy, and doesn't overheatReviewed in the United States on August 21, 2025Color: Olive GreenSize: KingVerified PurchaseBrief content visible, double tap to read full content.Full content visible, double tap to read brief content.I'm terrible about leaving reviews on Amazon for my purchases, but I wanted to make sure to leave this one. I'm a really hot sleeper and I live in Phoenix, so as far back as I can remember I'd always overheat at night and wake up at 3am in a pool of sweat. A couple of years ago I got so fed up with it that I started doing research, trying to figure out what I could do. I tried all the recommended stuff
  • different weaves of cotton, bamboo sheets, all sorts of combinations to try to not have to deal with that. This quilt as a comforter (it's heavy enough to feel like a light comforter) in combination with French/Belgian linen sheets I got last year, also from Amazon, has made a visceral world of difference in my life for the last week I've had it. It's a breathable linen outer with breathable COTTON as the stuffing according to the tag (instead of polyester which it far too common as a fakeout with 'linen' items - looking at you, Pottery Barn >_>) makes this incredibly breathable while still being... snuggly, might be the word? And warm enough to keep me feeling 'cozy' at night. I'm writing this in August during a heatwave where it's 110+ out during the day, and for the first time since I can remember I'm not waking up in a pool of sweat overheated multiple times during the middle of the night. I was able to up my night time thermostat temperature by a few degrees, even. When I wake up in the middle of the night I'm just... comfortable. And I can't remember experiencing that before unless it was the dead of winter and it was like 50 degrees in the house. I'm getting better sleep, waking up less, and if I do wake up I fall asleep faster and far more comfortably. I actually look forward to going to bed now instead of kind of dreading it. I know this all sounds melodramatic but I can't really overstate how much of a journey this has been to finally find the combination of sheets and comforters that would finally allow that. The end of that journey is due greatly in part to this product, I highly recommend it and would give it a sixth star if I could. No idea on long-term durability or anything of that nature, but it seems well made, and frankly even if it does fall apart in 6 months (I don't expect it to) I'd happily buy another at this point. I will say it comes with a frayed edge around the edges as a decorative touch(?), which is a little strange, and seems to lead to other reviews c
