    • I ended up taking some scissors to those and carefully cutting them away. Maybe for some situations those would be helpful but the velcro latching square is so tiny you can't really make much use of the straps to secure anything (unless you just want them to lightly secure something)
    • you can't really stretch them over anything to secure stuff inside because you quickly stretch beyond where they would connect up, so again basically a fail there. As mentioned, I cut those away and now everyone is happy again. The case comes with a moderate "this was made in China" smell to it. It's enough of a negative smell that I had to air it out outside in the sun for the past two days. Despite this, there is still a faint smell. Based on prior experience with products that have this sort of residual manufacturing smell, I'm guessing this case will be totally fine in a few more days and the smell will settle down and be okay to bring back inside the house (and/or store in the car, etc.). I will add that I'm highly sensitive to smells, so for some people this may not be any issue whatsoever. Either way, a few days of airing out and I suspect it will be 100% okay in that area.Overall, for the price this is a very nice size and high quality case that I would definitely recommend. I like it so much that I'm considering purchasing another one actually.A+++ Well done KingSung! :)Read moreRead lessOne person found this helpfulHelpfulSending feedback...Thank you for your feedback.Sorry, we failed to record your vote.
