    • fortunately, the bike mount has been going strong for years.On the plus side, I have literally never had a Senz umbrella turn inside out on me while biking or in any other scenario.However, their are two failure points that I have encountered several times that necessitate the purchase of a new (expensive) umbrella:1) The pole of the umbrella is bent relatively easily. Once that happens, you’ve got a useless piece of junk. You’re almost certainly not going to be able to get it perfectly straight again, which means the umbrella won’t open and close.2) The locking mechanism at the base of the handle is not very robust, and also fails relatively easily, after which the umbrella will not stay open.These things don’t tend to happen during rides, meaning they’re not really a safety concern, but they do make staying dry expensive for me.
