• the button was no trouble swapping over
• and the screen is crystal clear. Take your time
• there's no rush, and rushing will only create more problems. Here is how I did mine - Carefully pry out the old LCD screen-look it up on youtube
• carefully pry up the four little screen ribbon cable tab connectors to disconnect the old screen
• clean out any stickum residue left by the old screen
• carefully lift out the bracket holding in the home button and gently pull out the button connector ribbon
• insert the button in the new screen
• push the button ribbon cable in the little pocket where the old one was...push it in until you can't see any more of the copper connector-gently!
• carefully glue the bracket back over the button
• put the new little sticky strips right up to the edge of the new screen
• line up the button side of the screen in the case and hold it at an angle so you can push the four ribbon connectors into their sockets (mine clicked when they went in properly)(I used a little pallet knife to align the connectors and push them down because my hand is too big to fit in the little space)
• test the screen to make sure everything works
• press edges of screen gently to the case to get the glue strips seated. Done. Good as new! Screen fits exactly as the old one did and the resolution is great! Whole thing took me about an hour because I was really scared of messing something up. Good luck!Read moreRead less J.
