I would only recommend these to people who have carpentry or woodworking experience because installing them requires a high degree of planning and precision to make sure the door doesn't bind or rub against trim pieces or the door jamb. I've been an amateur woodworker/carpenter for over 10 years and used these hinges to build a hidden door under my stairs. The door is about 100 lbs and I think these are rated up to 600 lbs so they are heavy duty and should prevent the door from sagging for most homeowner projects. One of the big benefits is that you can easily remove the door anytime you want using a flathead screwdriver to raise the pivot bolt up into the door jamb. Before starting this project I researched a variety of hinges types and models
