The invisible thread resembles fishing wire, but has more flexibility. It is clear and virtually transparent. I tried using this kind of thread in the past, and didn’t have much luck with it. I think the key is to only use this in the top thread, and not on the bottom bobbin. I also increased loosened the tension a tad, and increased the stitch length. That really seemed to help and it was much easier for me to get the stitching to look smooth. I really like the look that the invisible thread provides. It works especially well on designs with all kinds of colors so you don’t have to keep swapping out thread colors.
