    • build up your farm, raise livestock, grow plants, woo a spouse, make friends, etc... each one is unique in its own way. And this one is no exception.In fact, I find it that "Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley" has a lot to offer besides the get up and get farming routine, which I have always, for unknown reasons, find addictive. The mining is fun and a little bit more complex than other Harvest Moon games (requires you to think logically)
    • there are lots of kinds fishes you can catch
    • building up relationships takes some work too. Making money is not easy, and I find that somewhat more realistic than the other Harvest Moon games. There is no shipping bin, but you can sell items at the shops, which is really, your main way of income.What I like the most about HOLV is the different story lines you can follow. In fact, this one actually has a specific story line to follow in which you have to raise 50,000 money before the third year in order to 'win' the game. There are some boss "fights" (not that hard at all), which I have never seen in another Harvest Moon game, except of course the Rune Factory games.
